Illustrator

Skills and Personal Attributes:

• Ability to read the script and conceptualize and illustrate the situation/s.
• Strong pencil sketch
• Anatomical understanding
• Strong perspective understanding
• Able to adopt different illustration styles such as realistic, Cartoony, Stylized.
• Understanding of creating character illustrations that can be rigged and animated.
• Graphic novel understanding (framing, panelling and camera angles)
• Digital Animation Knowledge (Added Advantage)
• Good communication skills
  

The candidate should have requisite knowledge of the following designing tools:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Flash/ Animate CC
• Adobe Illustrator
• Digital painting softwares like Sketchbook etc.
• Able to use Wacom skillfully
• Aftereffect Knowledge (Added Advantage)

Other Desirable Attributes:

• Able to grasp client needs, understand briefs and consider realistic solutions while suggesting alternatives
• High attention to detail
• Able to balance work on several projects at a time while meeting all deadlines
• Comfortable working under pressure

Educational/Experience Criteria:

• The candidate should have completed BFA/MFA or equivalent diploma from a reputed Art college/university, with specialization in Applied/Commercial and Fine art.
• Hands on experience developing digital illustrations.
