Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and creating test cases
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Design and develop automation scripts when needed
  • Provide timely solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in testing websites, standalone applications and APIs
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester
  • Experience in QA methodology, frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
